Lifecore Adjustable Dumbbells

The Lifecore Adjustable Dumbbells generally go unheard of. There's not a lot of information about these dumbbells on the net, so I really wanted to create a page that would exclusively review the dumbbells. Currently, Lifecore has two pairs of adjustable dumbbells on the market. This page is going to offer you with a short burst of information about each pair.

1) Introduction To Short Reviews: For each review below, I am going to hook you up with some of the features offered by each dumbbell, along with my short recommendation. I highly recommend checking out Amazon for more information, after reading the short reviews below.

1a) Lifecore Corebell 5- to 30-Pound Adjustable Dumbbell System with Stand
This Lifecore Adjustable Dumbbell has many great features. Most notably to me was the ability to adjust weight amount in 2.5 pound increments. Weight amount is adjustable between 5 - 30 pounds, and can be changed through use of a sliding pin. Comfortable grips and a nice storage stand are definitely positives. On the downside, 4 total reviews on Amazon gave this set of dumbbells an average rating of 1.5 out of 5 stars. People complained of the dumbbells not working. Others complained that adjusting weight amount was difficult.

I am no expert here, but out of the 4 reviews that I saw, nobody was really happy with these dumbbells. Sure, they look sleek, smooth, and easy to use, but when you have consistently similar reviews across the board, there has to be a problem with your product. Hopefully, the next pair I am about to review has received better ratings.

1b) Lifecore Corebell 5-55-Pound Adjustable Dumbbell System with Stand

For starters, these actually received a healthy rating of 4 out of 5 stars. Weight is adjustable between 5 and 55 pounds, in 2.5 pound increments. A sliding pin is used to adjust weight amount. Comfortable grips, and a slide and lock system which holds weights into place are great features. To get back to the ratings, only 1 person out of 9 gave this product a 1 star rating. 5 out of 9 gave it a 5 out of 5 star rating. That's not too shabby at all.

Many people actually seemed to be pretty happy with these dumbbells. It's crazy how you can have the same company create two different pairs of dumbbells, and have really bad reviews on one of the pairs. Maybe the 5 to 30 pound set has some sort of technical issue, but the 55 pound dumbbells on the other hand, I can actually recommend.

IronMaster Adjustable Dumbbells

I have created this page to discuss with you the IronMaster Adjustable Dumbbells. Sadly, IronMaster has only created a single pair of 75 pound adjustable dumbbells. In case the company does decide to further expand their adjustable dumbbell products, I am going to go ahead and keep the review of the 75 pound set brief. Remember the structure of the website: Company --> All Available Types Of Dumbbells --> Specific Dumbbells reviewed.

1) Introduction To Short Reviews: For each available set of dumbbells, I am going to give you a brief overview of what this dumbbell can do, along with the rating they received on Amazon. Also, I am going to give you my brief opinion, and recommendations.

1a) Ironmaster 75 lb Quick Lock Adjustable Dumbbells:
This set of adjustable dumbbells has the ability to adjust in weight from 5 - 75 pounds, in 2.5 pound increments. Unlike other adjustable dumbbells, which are sometimes made out of cheap materials, the Ironmaster is made out of welded steel, and has chrome plate handles. The system also comes with a rack and exercise poster. Based off of 36 customer reviews, the IronMaster adjustable dumbbells received an average 5 out of 5 star rating.
The IronMaster system is a great system. You have the ability to adjust weight in 2.5 pound increments, and the materials are definitely heavy-duty. One complaint I saw suggested that if you're looking to change weight amount quickly, the Powerblocks are definitely faster. If you can test these out before purchasing, that's what I would definitely recommend.

2) Recommendation:
Currently, IronMaster only makes 1 set of dumbbells, and I have discussed that set above. In a few weeks, I will do more of an in-depth review on these dumbbells. As for now, I can say that based off of the ratings on Amazon, these are a good pair of dumbbells. However, if you're doing something that needs quick weight adjustments, you may be better off with something like the Bowflex and Powerblock adjustable dumbbells.
